সূচনাঃ ফল আল্লাহর এক বিস্ময়কর দান। ফল সুস্বাদু এবং পুষ্টিকর। সকল মানুষ, শিশুরা অথবা পূর্ণবয়স্ক লোকেরা সমভাবে ফলকে পছন্দ করে। বাংলাদেশ হচ্ছে ফলের একটা বাগান স্বরূপ। বিভিন্ন জাতের এবং বিভিন্ন বিশেষ সময়ের ফল আমাদের দেশে জন্মে। জন্মানুসারে আমাদের দেশের ফলকে সকল মৌসুমের ফল এবং কোন বিশেষ সময়ের ফল এ দুই শ্রেণীতে ভাগ করা যায়। মৌসুমীফলাদিঃ গ্রীষ্মকালীন অনেক ফল আছে। এগুলো রসালো এবং সুস্বাদু। এগুলোর মধ্যে কিছু ফল মিষ্টি এবং কিছূ ফল টক। এ ফলগুলোর মধ্যে আমকে বলা হয় রাজা। আম বিভিন্ন জাতের হয়। ল্যাংরা, ফজলী, গোপালভোগ এবং মোহনভোগ হচ্ছে উৎকৃষ্ট ধরণের আম। কাঠাঁল আমাদের জাতীয় ফল। এটি অমসৃন আকৃতির একটি অতি পরিচিত সাধারণ ফল। ইহা খেতে খুব সুস্বাদু। পেয়ারা, জাম, লিচু এবং কুল আকারে খুবই ছোট ফল। এ ফলগুলো শিশুদের কাছে খুবই প্রিয়। তরমুজ, তেতুল, বাতাবী, আপেল, আনারস এবং লেবু খুব রসালো ফল। সব ঋতুর ফলঃ কলা, পেঁপে এবং নারিকেল হল সব ঋতুর ফল। এগুলো সারা বছর জম্নে। কলা এ ফলগুলোর মধ্যে অতি পরিচিত। কলা বিভিন্ন জাতের হয় যেমন সবরী, কবরী, চম্পা, সাগর প্রভৃতি। সকল জাতের কলার মধ্যে সবরী কলা উত্তম। সাগর কলা আকৃতিতে সবচেয়ে বড়। নরসিংদি এবং রামপালের সাগর কলা খুব বিখ্যাত কলা। পরবর্তী অতি পরিচিত ফল হলো কলা এবং পেঁপে অসু্স্থ্য লোকের খাদ্য হিসেবে এবং কাঁচা সবজি হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। নারিকেল দিয়ে অনেক মিষ্টি জাতীয় খাবার তৈরী হয়। খুব ভাল তৈলো ইহা দিয়া তৈরী হয়। ইহা সোফা তৈরী করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। উপকারিতাঃ সলক বয়সের মানুষ বিশেষ করে শিশু এবং বয়স্কদের জন্য ফল খুবই উপকারী। সব ধরনের ফলই পুষ্টিকর এবং স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য ভাল। অনেক ফলই খাদ্য হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় । কাজেই আমাদের উচিৎ আমাদের দেশে অধিক ফল জন্মানো। উপসংহারঃ ফল আমাদের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য উপকারী কিন্তু আমরা ফলের ব্যাপারে খুব যত্নবান নই। —
